Packers Players Support Salvation Army with Autograph Event

Four Green Bay Packers players showed their support for the Salvation Army and their fans during a heartwarming autograph event at Lambeau Field Atrium. A.J. Dillon, Bo Melton, Quay Walker, and Evan Williams not only signed memorabilia for eager fans but also raised funds to benefit families in need during the holiday season.

The event was a win-win for both fans and the community. Fans donated at least $50 to have their cherished sports items signed by their favorite Packers players, knowing that every dollar raised would directly support the Salvation Army’s initiatives. The funds collected will go towards helping families, seniors, and individuals in the Green Bay area and beyond, ensuring a brighter holiday season for those facing hardships.

Salvation Army Capt. Maj. Catherine Fitzgerald expressed her appreciation for the event, highlighting that nearly 8,000 children in the region will receive gifts thanks to the generous donations made during the autograph signing.

For Michelle Stevens and her two sons, attending the event was a journey worth taking. Despite a 45-minute drive from Two Rivers to Green Bay, Michelle recognized the significance of her boys meeting NFL stars in person. She shared how meeting the players inspired her sons, Morgan and Mason, to dream big and work hard towards their ambitions.

The players themselves viewed the event as an opportunity to give back to the community and connect with their dedicated fans. A.J. Dillon, a familiar face at Salvation Army events, emphasized the importance of sharing these special moments with supporters and making a positive impact in the community.

This autograph event is just one of many ways the Packers show their commitment to supporting the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, which aims to assist those in need during the holiday season. Other players like Kenny Clark, Kingsley Enagbare, and Rasheed Walker have also participated in similar events, spreading holiday cheer and goodwill throughout the Green Bay community.

While fans who missed the recent event have two more opportunities to meet Packers players and get autographs, the true essence of the occasion goes beyond signatures. For families like Michelle Stevens’, the event provided lasting memories and core experiences that will be treasured for years to come.

The proceeds from the event will continue to support the Salvation Army in providing essential services such as food, shelter, and gifts for families in need. The collaboration between Packers players, fans, and the Salvation Army exemplifies the power of generosity in bringing happiness and hope to those who require assistance during the holiday season.

As the holiday season approaches, don’t miss the chance to join the Packers players in giving back at the upcoming autograph events on Dec. 9 and Dec. 16. Together, let’s make a difference and spread joy to individuals and families in need, showing that even a small act of kindness can have a significant impact.
