2023 Panini Select Football Set to Launch This Summer

The 2023 Panini Select Football set is getting ready to make waves this summer just before the 2024 NFL training camps kick off. Known for its distinctive chromium-styled cards, this release has become a must-have in Panini’s lineup of sports card collections. Featuring a robust 500-card base set segmented into five levels, ranging from Concourse to Field, collectors can look forward to a diverse and exciting array of cards.

Starting with the Concourse Level, cards numbered from 1 to 100 are the most common in the set. On the other end of the spectrum, the Field Level comprises cards numbered from 401 to 500, offering collectors a chance to find rare gems. The set will also feature sought-after parallels like the Zebra and Disco parallels, as well as the limited Tie-Dye parallels, adding excitement to the hunt for unique cards.

One of the standout features making a return in this year’s release is the XRC Mystery Redemption program. This program allows collectors to get their hands on some of the first licensed rookie cards from the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft class. Anticipated to include Silver Prizm variants, low-numbered cards, and autographs, the XRC cards are sure to be a highlight for collectors looking to add exclusive cards to their collections.

In addition to the base set, the 2023 release will also include a variety of autographs and memorabilia cards. Collectors can expect to find Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches, Prime Selections Prizm Signatures Tie-Dye autograph memorabilia cards, and autographs from legendary players in the Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures Prizm series, adding value and appeal to the collection.

The collection will also reintroduce popular inserts such as Starcade, Color Wheel, and Select Anniversary, aligning with the aesthetic of this year’s NBA Select release. These inserts are sure to add a unique touch to the collection, offering collectors a diverse range of cards to chase after.

For collectors looking to get their hands on the 2023 Panini Select Football set, the hobby box configuration includes 5 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, and 12 boxes per case. Each hobby box is expected to contain 2 autographs, 1 memorabilia card, 15 Prizm parallels, 6 inserts, and 2 Field Level base cards, providing a comprehensive package of high-value cards for collectors to enjoy.

With each hobby box priced at an estimated $450, collectors can expect a worthwhile investment in a collection that captures iconic moments and athletes of the upcoming NFL season. As the release date approaches, anticipation is building among collectors and NFL fans alike for the excitement that the 2023 Panini Select Football set is set to bring.
